Dark Shadows

Dark Shadows originally aired from 1966-1971 on ABC TV. Originally, it was a gothic soap opera, about the strange things that happened to the Collins family living on an estate known as Collinwood, in Collinsport, Maine. Soon, ghosts were haunting the family, and then a Phoenix joined the fun. The introduction of Jonathan Frid as Barnabas Collins, a 175-year old guilt ridden vampire, brought the show tremendous success. With it's alluring tales of Gothic mystery and supernatural intrigue, it became one of the most popular daytime series of all time.
